After taking your one thousandth lap around the harbor, you might be looking for something new to do with your Jet Ski, Sea-Doo, WaveRunner, or PWC. Well, before you let it sit outside collecting dust for several months, check out some of the awesome things that your PWC can help you unlock.
Here is our list of the top six things that you can only do with your PWC:
1) Snorkeling
Okay, you can technically do this with a boat, but having the ability quickly ride out to wherever you want will take your snorkeling to a whole new level. Want to keep up with a school of fish or a group of dolphins? You can quickly zoom ahead of anything and then find the perfect place to post up and explore the sea life.
2) Fishing
Even the most die-hard fishermen can get bored lolling around the sea or lake all day. This is particularly true if you just end up stuck in an area where the fish don’t seem to bite! Fishing from a Jet Ski, however, you have all the excitement of riding around plus the ability to just chill out and fish wherever you want (or are permitted!). In addition, many companies are now offering cooler and rack attachments so you can fish and relax in style.
3) Swimming
We all want our own private island. With a PWC you can find a small island or sandbar and create a kingdom that you can have all to yourself. These are often great places for swimming and snorkeling too because they are far away enough from the shore to have some more wildlife. Or you can just kick back and relax until you are ready for your next adventure.
4) Tows-Ins and Pulls
A PWC is a vehicle but it is also a tool. Many surfers uses them as a way of entering large waves for the ride of a lifetime. For the slightly less bold, PWCs can also be used to pull water-skis, wakeboards and other equipment. Since they are quicker and more maneuverable than boats, they are a lot more challenging and create more opportunities to do tricks.
5) Flyboarding
This is the real game changer. Flyboards are revolutionizing the way people use their PWCs. Flyboarding gives a person the ability to defy gravity, do tricks in the air and dive like a dolphin through the water. Best of all, it only takes an average of ten minutes’ worth of instruction to learn how to fly! It’s fun for both the Flyboarder and the Jet Ski operator! If you own a PWC and have not tried this yet, then you need to do so immediately!
6) Hoverboarding
Invented by the same group of innovators who brought you the Flyboard, the Hoverboard is the best way to live out everyone’s Back to the Future dream. It is also powered by your PWC, and works through a high-powered jet attached to the rear of the board. With it you can fly as fast as 16 mph at 16 feet in the air while doing a massive assortment of tricks.
Try Something New
It is impossible to not have fun on a PWC. That being said, it is always a good idea to try something new so whether you want to fish, swim, flyboard or hoverboard, get out there and have a good time!
